Damn you UPS!

I’ve mentioned this before but I got a side web, logo, print design business. I’ve been doing ok with it so far. I’m still on the positive zone in terms of finance which is good and have increased in my web skills. I’ve mainly relied on referrals for incoming project but lately I’ve been on this determined track to go further with it. I want my side business to be my full-time gig. I want to have something to call my own instead of working for someone else who pockets all the dough. I want to say I succeeded at what I set out to do. Start a business and prosper off of it. In order to do so I need to up the game. Do some heavy self promoting. Get the word out. Do better work to impress the masses. It’ll be a lot of late nights but if I am doing it full-time before the end of the year then it will be worth it.

One thing that was done was we ordered business cards.

Marriage License Came In

29 Apr, 2008

Well, after 7 months our marriage certificate finally came in from Costa Rica. At first I was wondering if we were ever really married. Now we officially are.

I’m so glad we eloped and not had some big wedding like everyone else.

On a side note, I want to buy a kayak.

I Think I’m Married

23 Apr, 2008

Last year in September my wife and I eloped in Domincal, Costa Rica. It’s one of the best places on Earth I’ve ever been too and am very wishing to go back. Away from computers, cellphones, mean people, professional world, etc. It’s a place to unwind a bit and not worry about the crap that floods everyday life. I think everyone should go at least once.

My wife and I saved ourselves some time and headache of planning a wedding. Have you ever planned a wedding? It takes a fuckin year or so to. To top everything there’s the family headache. Mothers and fathers get too involved and your original wedding plan suddenly gets flushed down the toilet. Also weddings are nothing more than business these days. Flowers, dresses, suits, banquet halls, catering, etc. Average cost of a wedding is like $25,000. That doesn’t include the honeymoon.

The Grown Man That Pisses Next to Me

16 Apr, 2008

At my old job, we shared the floor with one other business. I can’t recall what their business was nor do I really care. But we shared the same floor. Thus, we shared the same restrooms as well. Not a big deal. I don’t mind using the urinal in front of another individual.

$100 A Week? Done!

10 Apr, 2008

Some people think the world is made of fluff. Popcorn. Filled with milkduds and sweet tarts and everything dandy. A world where people drink soda pop and gummi berry juice while laying cozy on a floating cloud that passes over a caramel sea of goo. In this world people do not believe in bills, mortgages, and taxes. In this world people like to work for free because working countless hours brings smiles to the faces.

My Insides Are My Copilot

9 Apr, 2008

I’ve mentioned Arnie in a past post:

Every Has Had an Asshole Boss

He was an asshole and once my boss. Thankfully I no longer work for that fuckhead of an individual. But back when I did he was a big reason Happy Hour was so sought out and enjoyed. After working 9 and 1/2 hours non-stop in a high stress environment with Arnie and other asshole coworkers a few drinks always brought temporary peace even if it came with the occasional blackout.

Despite the wishes of others, I am NOT dead

7 Apr, 2008

My heart is still pumping and I am breathing the fine air while tickling my fanny with a bum tickler. I am not dead. Some may wish I was dead but I am not. Still alive and kicking and being an annoyance whenever chance I can get. Please take back your tears or your tears of joy. I live on.

I’ve been busy is all. Too busy to post stuff here. My time has been occupied with my full time gig, my side business which I want to be a full time gig, website projects, trying to stay in shape, and visitors visiting. Time has been very short and there have been too many thoughts running in my mind to keep controlled and organized. I want to do a million things. I want to go to a million places. If only I could replace my full time job with my side business then my world will be at ease…

Teen Pregnancy And The Grateful Dead

3 Apr, 2008

When I was in high school there was girl who pregnant by a roadie for the Grateful Dead. She was obviously a hippy chick but a smart one with the books. She dropped out of school as result of the pregnancy and hit the road with the Grateful Dead and her new roadie boyfriend.

I was cleaning out files from my computer where I cam across my trillian logs. I had a ton of chat logs spanning almost three years worth of pointless, idiotic conversation with friends. Here are the good parts of the logs. By the way, I'm in the process of getting them all up. Enjoy!
